Dandruff is a common problem faced by many people, and anti-dandruff shampoos are the most preferred solution.

However, despite the availability of many effective anti-dandruff products, they still don’t provide the desired relief to many sufferers. This is because the method of use and the quality of water can greatly affect the efficacy of anti-dandruff shampoos.

The efficacy of shampoo can be affected by the quality of water used. Hard water, which has a high mineral content, can cause shampoo to form a heavy buildup on hair, making it difficult to rinse out and leaving hair feeling heavy and dull. On the other hand, soft water, which has a lower mineral content, can make it easier to rinse out shampoo and leave hair feeling clean and smooth.

Additionally, the pH of the water can also impact the efficacy of shampoo. It is ideal to use water with a pH close to that of the scalp, which is slightly acidic, to maintain the natural balance of the scalp.
